One Pot meals for lonely students - That’s you

We get it, moving out of home means that it’s difficult to come up with new and fun meals that are hitting the macro recommendation of your friend studying health and nutrition. While we can’t help you with nutritional value, here’s some easy as fuck meals.

Fried Rice

Sunday morning, hungover as fuck, cold rice from a couple days ago? Lesh go.

– Onion

– 1 cup Rice

– 1 Cup frozen veg

– Egg

– Some kind of protein

– Fuck loads of soy sauce

  1. Please use oil when cooking onions you fuckwit. But cook the onion until it’s cooked. Whatever the fuck that means.
  2. Scramble some eggs with your onion.
  3. Add veggies to the current concoction that you’re making, cook it all for some time.
  4. Add your rice and soy sauce. Don’t drown it but also don’t be stingy, a bottle is $2.29 at countdown (Yes I checked).
  5. Bon appetit bitch

Nachos

Make it with beans or mince, it doesn’t matter, shit is fire regardless.

– Can of Kidney Beans

– Tomato Paste

– Onion

– Garlic (Don’t let anyone judge your garlic quantities)

– ½ Capsicum (They’re expenny though)

– Taco seasoning

– $2 bag of those red chips, you know the ones

– Mince (Or beans for our vegan friends)

– SPinACh (Vege intake acquired)

– Some cheese

  1. Cut the veggies in a semi-decent way, don’t be an animal about it.
  2. Get some oil hot in a pan, strip for it. Get those onions and garlic frying.
  3. Add the capsicum and mince into the pan, get that shit hot enough to cook the living hell out of the bacteria having a flat party in there.
  4. This is where the beans, tomato paste, taco seasoning, and spinach join in. Get them going, you may need water to get it to a saucy consistency. Fuck knows.
  5. Heat your oven up and get it hot.
  6. Put your corn chips on the plate and add some cheese. We’re gonna melt that shit over them in the oven. Now don’t be a dumbass and use a teatowel, no trips to A&E because you grabbed a hot nachos plate.
  7. Get them in the oven and cook until melty.
  8. Put your mince on top* and add some more cheese. Chuck some sour cream on top if ya flattie has any.
  9. Enjoy.

*Freeze any leftovers. It’s algood for like… sometime in the freezer, we’re sure of it.
