America Has a Problem

Remember the massive peaceful Los Angeles ICE protests that went on in June? Because that shit has been STRIPPED from media. At though the protests in LA and several other states somehow seem to have vanished into thin air, this is not the case at all. Think, hundreds of people arrested, “deployment of national guard”, military violence, all topped off by good old media censorship.
A BBC article tells us how protests were limited to only certain areas of the city, as well as given a curfew (8pm to 6am). Over 300 people arrested. The article states “Law enforcement officers in riot gear have responded with flash-bang grenades, rubber bullets and other non-lethal tactics.” New York Police told the BBC that “multiple” arrests had been made at the largely peaceful demos; from California, more than 150 arrested. And other flashpoints being Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia and Washington DC.
Trump has deployed a total number of 4,000 National Guards and 700 US marines to these protests invoking a rarely-used federal law arguing that the protests constituted “a form of rebellion against the authority of the government of the United States.” People love to point fingers at explicit authoritarianism in the pacific (think China or North Korea), but refuse to accept its happening right in front of our eyes. Almost reminds me of the small China incident – dare I say it? —Tiananmen square…
