Following the fire that swept through a Frankton Panel-Beater & WOF shop on Monday, the tenth of March, Detective Seargeant Matt Lee has put out a request for “anyone who witnessed any activity at or around the premises yesterday (Monday) morning leading up to the fire.” Lee said: “This includes any CCTV or Dashcam footage.”

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported from the fire. And although incidents like this typically leave businesses facing an uncertain future, a spokesperson from the shop has said that staff are determined to open “as soon as the building is ready.”

In the meantime, other branches in Hamilton remain open, so it’s unlikely this fire will put down the company for good.
