Slasher Sequels/Remakes That Are Worth Watching

Scream 4 (2011) – Jill Roberts was the most successful Ghostface, period.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) – A well-written remake that clearly shows its appreciation for its origins.
Halloween Kills (2021) – One of the most intense and brutal sequels out there. Michael Myers is THE slasher villain.
Pearl (2022) – Standard A24-esque film with a dash of psycho-killer. This is technically a prequel but shh.
Evil Dead (2013) – Is this really slasher? Well, there’s a whole lot of gore and killings. For first time watchers, it might make your list for best horror.

Freddy vs. Jason (2003) – Okay, just hear us out. It’s not your best slasher flick, but it brings together two of the coolest slasher villains. It’s a good laugh, and overall, just vibes.
Scream VI (2023) – The 2022 requel was… okay, but it’s 2023 sequel made up for it with its killings. The Ghostface reveal wasn’t the best though.
The Hills Have Eyes (2006) – One of the better remakes out there, but feel free to tell us we’re wrong.
Sorority Row (2009) – Honestly chucking this in because Google said so. Let us know how it goes?
Fear Street Part Two: 1978 (2021) – As far as Netflix films go, this trilogy was unexpectedly amazing. Part Two gave us a brilliant plot and even more brilliant killings.
