This week’s boredom killer is simple, chaotic, and guaranteed to create stories you’ll be hearing about all year: Red Cards.
Here’s how it works. Every flatmate (or anyone in the group) gets one “red card.” You can play it at any time, for any reason. When you pull your card, everyone has to drop what they’re doing and commit to whatever you’ve called no questions asked. The catch? You only get one.
Red cards usually lead to classic flat chaos: spontaneous nights out, midweek missions, mystery drinking rules, or completely rogue activities
The beauty of Red Cards is the unpredictability. It breaks routines, kills boredom instantly, and gives everyone a chance to create a great moment. Some cards will flop, some will go way too far but that’s half the fun.
