Euphoria episode 2 wasn’t any less inane than episode 1, however a little less disgusting. Amazingly we got blessed with a Maddy opening scene, who is deservingly living her best life working a high-end office job. While also being an only fans manager on the side, I love women in male dominated fields. We got some incredible Rue content alongside multiple near-death experiences and the cover up of a death – silly Faye. Also, Angel is getting killed I’m calling it.
On a bad note, we’re getting way too much Cassie content. The whole lobotomised only-fans thing as she’s super conservative and trad is a little confusing. It seems like Sam Levinson is having a little too much fun making Sydney Sweeney do whatever weird fetish he wants. Cassie was my favourite character during season 1 so I’m gonna keep praying they give her depth.
Besides these less enjoyable, but abundantly dramatic scenes is, of course, the JULES SIGHTING!!! Doing exactly what we expected our queen to be doing: arts school!!!
