- This was my trauma meal from lockdown because it’s all my dad would cook, so if you have a desire to join in on the horrors then here’s how it’s done.
- Playlist: 2000s pop music; like the kind you’d hear in the club today. Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus, Blank Space by Taylor Swift and Call me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen is a great starter pack.
Ingredients:
- Trauma
- Y2k nostalgia
- 400g of chicken nibbles (this can feed four people, so please have four people over. It’s horrible on your own)
- Five potatoes
- Salt and pepper (seasonings are banned)
Method:
- Peel and chop up your potatoes into chunks. Chuck them into a pot of water with some salt and let them boil, it’ll take ages.
- Place your chicken nibbles straight onto a baking tray, season with only salt and pepper. Put them in the oven on 180 degrees fan bake. It is important you don’t preheat the oven so that it takes way too long and everyone gets hungry and pissy.
- Sit around for half an hour while everything takes a painfully long time to cook. Once the potatoes are done, add butter and milk and mash them up.
- Take chicken nibbles out of oven and place on plates with potato.
- Make sure seasonings are at a minimum throughout the whole dish.
- Sit down and enjoy over One News Live at 6.
