If you’re a Euphoria fan that hasn’t seen the new episode, then skip this because I am about to spoil it. It was good. It wasn’t amazing, or mind blowing, it was just an episode of Euphoria. I watched it twice, to try and work out what the problem was, and I deduced that while it has all the same characters and same hallmarks of the show, it doesn’t pack the same punch as every episode of the previous season for many reasons. Nate’s personality switch is weird, and feels disjointed; Cassie’s behaviour is normal. Of course Nate drives a cybertruck. Kat is missing all together. The lack of Labrinth soundtrack is too noticeable. Rue turning to religion makes sense. All together, it was good, but not good enough. If the rest of the season is like this, I’ll be disappointed because it is not what it once was. Also, the condom thing was fucking disgusting.
