Because I didn’t look properly at the specifics of the showing, I walked into the theatre and ended up watching the newest Avatar movie in 3D, which wasn’t something I’d done in a long time, and it made the movie’s experience so much better to be sitting there with those glasses on my face, big blue creatures lunging at me from the screen.
As always, Avatar was a long but engaging movie that made me want to really know what was going to happen in the next installment. However, I felt a little like I was being shown something I’d seen before. The second movie had been different enough from the first, but I watched Fire and Ash thinking that I was mostly watching the plot of the second movie being adapted into a different clan, water to fire.
But of course, not a bad movie by any stretch. Would watch again.
